Today is the big day, you've hit Sixty-Six. HEY! “You can't teach an old dog new tricks!” But you showed 'em they're all dead wrong, (We know it's 'cause you're so head strong)

You've just learned to draw and paint, Portraits both majestic and very quaint. Piles of books and bowls for inspiration, With an A minus you garnered admiration!

Mountains and roads and bridges crossed, With each pedal push the belly is lost. There is no road or path too steep, You'd have that Bike instead of the Jeep.

And what's that growing on your face I see? A mustache and beard, as thick as can be! Amazed us all with your new pursuits, A man of character and positive attributes.

“So bring it on!” you're just getting started. By an old man the Red Sea was parted! So tell those naysayers to hit the bricks. 'Cause life's lived better at Sixty-Six!

(I wrote this for my Father's 66th Birthday)
